Helen, A native Floridian, grew up in Tampa, Florida, creating art. After raising a family, completing BS and MA degrees at Memphis State University and serving as a teacher, principal and personnel supervisor, Helen is again pursuing her passion for art.

Helen works in oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, charcoal and any other medium that offers the variety of techniques for which she is known. Her subject matter is varied, and she is well known for her portraits, collages, and murals.
